Head of Clinical Operations

This is a senior appointment and an office based job in Northern Switzerland.

The successful candidate will be a science graduate with at least 10 years in a clinical environment. Some of this experienced can be gained from CROs but you should have significant Pharma / Biotech experience

Essentially you will

• Manage clinical operations resources
• Manage personnel training and development
• Oversee clinical managers based in Switzerland and America
• Ensure timelines, budgets, milestones and onsite enrolment targets are met
• Assist in CRO negotiations, relations with onsite personnel, protocol, regulatory and feasibilities

The successful candidate will;

• Have a life sciences degree
• Have 10 years (min) of clinical ops experience
• Demonstrable successful senior leadership within a clinical ops role. Ideally this will be a pharma company although CRO experience will be considered
• Have applied experience in the management of large, complex international, clinical development programmes
• Possess excellent presentation skills, be able to communicate and present to all audience types
• Thrive in a high pressure environment and enjoy working within a team
